The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the large number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The provider level produced for intervention ordeals a status sassa substantial influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
